Ella says:

I have been invited to attend a ceramic art residency in Mexico starting 15 August 2018. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity for me as a ceramic sculptor and a great honor. Ceramic art residencies are scarce and hard to find. The residency -THE HUMAN PROBLEM WITHIN CONTEMPORARY CERAMICS will be held at Anima Casa Rural Artist in Residency (ACRAR) in Mexico under the direction of Surisday Reyes Martines & Alejandro Cordoves from Cuba.

I hope to be flying the flag for South African Ceramic Sculpting and to come back with new skills to share. Ceramic is still a very undervalued medium for sculpting in South Africa compared to the rest of the world. Every bit of help to change that perception will be highly appreciated.
